Bill + Brad's Presidio Wedding

Bill and Brad were one of the most fun couples I've ever worked with! These two gentleman had decided to make their long-standing relationship official, and what a better place than the San Francisco Presidio to make it happen.

The Presidio is such an amazing wedding venue; being just minutes away from a myriad beautiful vistas makes it a huge challenge to choose where to shoot portraits. We decided to spend the morning at Fort Point, braving the blustery winds below the Golden Gate Bridge, and then popped over to the Marin Headlands for one of the best views of the entire city.

The reception was held at the Golden Gate Club, right in the heart of the Presidio.

legion of honor engagement photos

Somehow, I've never made it to the Legion of Honor in all my years, so when Carrie told me she wanted to shoot there, I was thrilled! Sadly, we were kicked out just minutes afterwards since they were closing, but the grounds were so incredible we just kept shooting there and then headed back to the Embarcadero for some evening shots...what a great time! Being a San Francisco wedding photographer never gets old.

sutro baths & lands end engagement shoot

Another beautiful day in San Francisco and another fantastic couple getting married!

We started off putting around Kristyn & Mike's neighborhood before popping over to the AH-MAZING Sutro Baths and Lands End for some sunset shots! This couple was a ton of fun and I'm really looking forward to their San Francisco wedding and reception at the Presidio Officers' Club this October.  These two crazy kids had props, of the deer hat persuasion.  Awesome!  Need I say more? Take a look for yourself in the gallery below.

japantown & chinatown engagement shoot

For Jessica & Koji's engagement session, we worked our way through Japantown and Chinatown and took in the sights...I had a hard time resisting the urge to stop for food, but I managed to keep it together and we got some great shots.

In Japantown, we started with some shots at the Peace Pagoda and then worked our way up to the main gate.

baby e's 6 month photos

When I received an email from sweet baby e's mom that she wanted to schedule a 6-month photo session, I couldn't have been happier. It was only three short months since our last session, but in baby time three months can seem like forever and baby e got even cuter, which I don't think anyone thought was possible.  Plus, this time I was fortunate to meet her equally photogenic big brother and proud dad for an awesome at-home family photo shoot.

Here are a handful of the photos from their family photo session. They were all so great that I had a hard time narrowing them down.

the lee family takes lafayette reservoir | east bay family photographer

Every time I work with this family, there is a good time to be had. This time we visited the Lafayette Reservoir with their extended family as a gift to their parents. An amazing family photo shoot with some super fun and photogenic kiddos!

You may recognize part of this family from their Lime Ridge maternity shoot, when that beautiful little baby girl was still in her mommy's tummy.

angel island proposal | san francisco engagement photography

When I got the call from Andrew and heard his plans to propose to his girlfriend Alicia, I was so excited - not only did I get to take their pictures, but I got to play spy too! He had planned out a whole clandestine operation where I would discreetly follow them on a hike around the island and capture the moment at the top when he dropped to one knee and popped the question.
